Jennie Larry Johnson is a certified learning and performance architect, product development consultant, project manager and seasoned technical writer with over 35 years of experience in vocational training support, banking, finance, government relations, quality control and project management.  Jennie attained her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Technology & Performance Improvement from the University of North Texas and is currently enrolled in Toulouse Graduate School where she is pursuing a doctoral degree in Learning Technologies.

Jennie has earned 48 hours toward PMP Certification and her technical training includes the completion of the Kirkpatrick Bronze Certification program, Versatile Project Management Company’s “Fast Forward MBA” Program and certification by the University of North Texas as a Job Coach and Job Skills Trainer. Jennie was a certified Wendy Kennedy Institute So what? who cares? Why you? ™ Coach in 2014 qualified to use the step-by-step tips, visual tools and worksheets designed by a global community of over 10,000 scientists including the Purdue Foundation, European Space Agency, Pennsylvania State University, Northern Alberta Business Incubator and many others to guide entrepreneurs and inventors along the path to product commercialization.

Jennie completed the Quality Management International, Inc.’s ISO: 9000 training program and is a provisionally certified Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor. Jennie received grant writing, program planning and project management certifications from the Department of Health and Human Services Substance and Abuse and Mental Health Administration, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Institute for Youth Development, College of Biblical Studies, Texas Southern University, and San Jacinto College.

In 2014, Jennie was selected to serve on the White House Business Council Forum for the Small Business Majority, a national nonprofit advocacy organization focused on solving the biggest problems facing America’s 28 million small businesses.  Jennie was selected for the Organizing for America Fellowship Program and has served on GuideStar’s 2014 – 2015 User Advisory Board and the Community Advisory Board for the University of Houston Texas Obesity Research Center since its inception.  Jennie was honored to become a member of Leadership Houston Class XXV and graduated from that elite and disguished program. Jennie is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Lead Project Funding Consultant, of Creative Funding Solutions, Inc. (CFS), an SBA certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise and Texas Historically Underutilized Business.  The firm is also certified as a Small Business Enterprise with the Department of Transportation and was previously certified by METRO and the Port of Houston Authority as a Minority/Women Owned Business and Small Disadvantaged Business by the City of Houston.

As Creative Funding Solutions, Inc.’s CEO, Jennie employs her education and technical training to assist clients in improving their operational efficiency and during the development of comprehensive programs and products grounded by Total Quality Management Supplier Quality Systems and Project Management Body of Knowledge proven methodologies, principles and practices.  Jennie works with a team of technical writers and consultants that includes former executive directors, educators, and administrators.  The team represents over 50 years of technical writing and project management experience collectively.  The team motto is: “We make dreams come true!” And Jennie strives to live up to that slogan.

To date, Jennie has helped her clients secure over $13.2 million in grants and investment opportunities.  Historically, CFS has provided nonprofit and small business consulting firm, however, Jennie plans to move the firm toward project management, compliance auditing and performance improvement in the future.
